Accessibility
This site is built to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards and magnification.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means, among other things:
- Text and controls have strong contrast, and nothing is communicated by color alone — every status has an icon and a word.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Buttons and form fields are large and clearly labeled, and errors are explained in plain English.
- Charts have text descriptions, and the district map has a table view with the same information.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Animation is minimal and turns off if your device asks for reduced motion.
If anything on the site is hard to use, please tell us and we'll fix it.
